I am currently a Law Enforcement officer and live an active lifestlye. I had torn my ACL a few years ago but had refused to let it get me down. I was able to go through most of sporting and daily life without rec onstruction due to strong muscular strength but recently had some swelling in the knee. Went to see my specialist who is a Sports Medicine doctor and got an MRI done. The results were not so good. Torn ACL and meniscus tear and require urgent repair. I am looking forward to the operation and want to get back to my usual lifestyle. I am opting for a donor graft.
