Sunday, March 4, 2007 tripped over the handle sticking out of a Hazmat Box at work. Heard a pop and tore my ACL in my Right Knee. MRI 10 day later showed a torn MCL, Stretched MCL, Bakers Cyst, and a fracture in in proximal tibia. 10 weeks of light duty at work till my surgery on Thursday, May 17, 2007. First O/S that I saw (workers Comp Doctor siad all I need was a brace) My second opinion O/S said I need surgery Right Away and due to my age (54) thta I would do better with a cadeavor ligament. My O/S is one of the team Doc's for the Pittsburgh Pirates and does over 50 ACL's a year. I am almost pain free as today is day 4 and for the first 2 days had a Pain Pump in my knee which made all the difference in the world. I start P/T on Thursday and see the O/S the day after Memorial Day on Tuesday.
