Hello - tore my ACL playing tennis this summer. Just had surgery in September. The MRI read that it was just a strain and that is what my prior dr. went with. After 3 weeks of Therapy went out to just do some touch volleys around the tennis net and my knee just gave out and fell on my face. Went back to the dr. and he said it might just be cartlidge in there. I finally got a second opinion and the new dr. said I definately had a tear and he could see it in the MRI. Anyway it has been a long process to get this surgery scheduled but sure glad I did with the RIGHT dr.
