PCL tear, Medial Meniscus tear(partial) 2002
PCL recon, Postero lateral corner recon, 2003
Hamstring autograft for both.

Need advice on recon rehab.

Worst condition pre reconstruction but post injury was superior to my best condition post reconstruction. I have never been able to run properly, rather I limp quickly until my leg can no longer keep up with the pace. I am exasperated. Numerous specialists have said that while my PCL has stretched out, I should be capable of far more than I am currently able, and have scratched their heads and advised more rehab. It has started to dawn on me that my huge functional deficits may be due to serious hamstring deficiency in my injured leg, and this is what I am trying to solve. No conventional exercise I have tried has borne fruit, and I have tried lots. Any insight from those who have rehabbed stubborn hamstrings post recon are sought.
