:0( This whole tearing your ACL, Meniscus, AND fracturing your tibia is NOT fun. It happened on a fairly windy day, @ Snowshoe...after 2 feet of fresh powder had accumulated in about 6 hours. Apparently Cupp Run decided after the 6 or so runs from the day before, that it no longer liked my presence. Who knows what happened exactly, but I'm guessing I cought an edge cutting down the hill, ski went one way, the rest of my leg went the other...down I fell. I almost died on the snowmobil about 45 mins later as Chris (featured in the picture) attempted to drive up the steephill on Cupp.. It was worth the thrill. The fun part was driving 8 hours home after I left the clinic... oh my goodness.

There went my summer plans of white-water rafting, basejumping, skydiving, rock climbing, and horseback riding. No more swim meets, diving meets, track meets, basketball games, or tennis matches until next season. In less than 3 seconds, I went from the most active 18 year old I know, to being practically immobile for the next 4 months (at least that is what my doctor told me)

ANYWHO -- that's my sob story... what's yours? I imagine it's prolly worse, or at least close. :0)
