37 year old weekend warrior who's passion is basketball, which I started playing when I was 8, played in college briefly, and how I blew out my left ACL. I had arthroscopic surgery in college to "clean up" my right knee and that was nothing. I was running full speed 2 weeks later. I've had many orthopedic injuries of broken bones and separations, but this will be my first reconstruction.

I'm 6'3" 230 pounds and I was driving to the basket, the floor was dusty, my heel slipped and I became an ACL club member on 2-20-2005. Only good news is we won the game and I scored 30 points for my swan song. My other hobbies are scuba diving, skiing, hunting and working out. I also spent a whole year traveling around the world in 1990, living out of a backpack, and visiting 40 countries. Started in Europe and the took the Trans-Siberian train across Russia into China and SE Asia. Great experience and taught me to appreciate what I have for sure. Scheduled for auto-patellar surgery on 3-31-2005.
