I am 30 years old, and I partially tore the Acl in my right leg on Oct. 14 2000 playing flag football. 6 weeks after the initial injury I started rehabing the knee, and decide to wait a while to have surgery. It took about 2 months to return the muscles in my leg to full strength. My doctor prescribed me a Cti2 brace, and I went on to enjoy most of the activities that I did before the injury, which included running, sprint triathalons, Motocross, mountain biking, and most importantly WORK, as a Correctional Officer at a State Prison. My knee held up to all of the above, including being assaulted four times at work. Thank you CTI2! On July 12, I completely tore the the same ACL in addition to the Medial Meniscus, while playing with my 18 month old daughter in our yard. I am scheduled for surgery on Sept. 19 and will have the Patellar tendon autograft.
