Ugh....I tore my ACL playing basketball Oct 11th. Pretty much ran at the person with the ball and got into a defensive position. Unfortunately, my foot stayed planted but my femur kept going. Felt an awful sideways movement of my bones moving against each other. Awful pain and swelling immediately. I knew this one was bad right away. Had to be driven home and unable to walk for 3 days. Was able to limp around and walk with crutches at day 4. Surgery date is Jan 17th. Totally dreading it Watched way too many videos of the operation and am considering to cancel the surgery. Walking is pretty ok now but still have swelling. Stupid ACL!!!
