Knee dislocation during skiing in April 2001. ACL, PCL MCL completely ruptured and posterolateral damage as well.
June 2001 - arthroscopy to confirm that it was very unstable!
Sept 2001 - PCL reconstruction
Oct 2001 - manipulation under anaesthetic (I was stuck at 90deg)
Nov 2001 - ACL reconstruction
July 2002 - Synvisc x3
Oct 2002 - Saw 2nd OS who suggests high tibial osteotomy
Jan 2003 - arthroscopy to assess artic.cart damage- not too bad)
March 03 - 3rd OS (in US) who agreed osteotomy then posterolateral reconstruction
May 03 - 4th OS (in UK) agrees with no 3 but wants to do osteotomy and ligament surgery all in one
Sept 03 - High tibial osteotomy, posterolateral corner reconstruction and advancement + revision ACL and PCK reconstructions !!!!
Jan 04 - MUA for being stuck at 90deg
May 04 - arthroscopic scar tissue removal for medial pain
August 04 - a pretty reasonable knee all things considering, stable with just some posterolateral soft tissue pain,
