An unbalanced landing courtesy of another player under the net on the volleyball court 10/21/03 caused dislocation of the left knee and patella. The joint was reduced with by a PT-A who plays for our team with my assistance. Patella was reduced at the ER a few hours later. No bone, blood vessle or nerve damage was found and a followup with an OS was scheduled. OS initially diagnosed Complete ACL tear, partial PCL tear and grade I MCL tear. Surgery on 11/19/2003 revealed ACL tear, no PCL damage and grade II MCL tear. ACL was grafted using donor achilles tendon.
