i'm 17 and i tore my right ACL and both my lateral and medial menisci late last january playing indoor soccer. on february 16th i had ACL reconstruction (using a graft from my patellar tendon) and both menisci were repaired. this past january i tore my medial meniscus again while playing soccer and had a knee arthroscopy about two weeks ago. when they went in, they found that i partially retore my ACL because my reconstructed ACL didnt connect fully to my blood supply last time. i'm now looking at having another reconstruction to repair my ACL so that it becomes more stable and i can play soccer again. the doctor is going to have to use a patellar tendon graft from my left knee this time so i'll now have scars on both knees..:)
