I'm a 40 year old woman who heard the dreaded pop during taekwondo sparring. Just starting the process but have remarkably little pain (pre-surgery) and great return of range of motion.......But, I got my Donjoy three days after the injury and tried to go right back to taekwondo....... Unfortunately I have a complete rupture and a super-unstable knee, so as you can imagine, that ended poorly and with a few tears, I am hanging up my belt until done with rehab.
