I tore my ACL in May of 2005 while teaching a group fitness class. I stepped laterally to the right and it snapped and I went down. Complete tear of right ACL. Long story. Worker's Comp. First doc didn't think I had torn it when I thought I had b/c no swelling or bruising-but I understand that happens in a percentage of cases. New doc great. Allograft June 2005. Age 46. Grew a big ole' bone spur at the site of the titanium screw. Could not fully extend my knee without feeling a pinch because of it. Had that sawed down in June of 2006. I am back to doing everything I was doing prior to the tear and my knee feels great.
