Torn ACL in 8 year old Nephew

Hi! Our team of Doctors and the MRI just confirmed my 8 year old nephew has a torn ACL. He plays Lacrosse, Baseball, Football, Soccer and Gymnastics and lives for sports. His idols are the Red Sox and Patriots (though he was not happy after the Super Bowl loss this year!). This is devastating news to him. I'm looking for answers for him, trying to give him some hope that he will be able to continue doing what he loves. Any info you can provide will be much appreciated! We live in the Boston area and will do anything we can to get his knee healthy.
