Our kiddie repairs have done extremely well. The wierd thing is that it doesn't regularly stretch out, even though the graft source is weak, and the placement is not anatomic.

Its probably something about the growing child's knee that makes this suboptimal repair work-much like a less than perfect reduction of a child's fracture remodels into a normal bone, unlike the adult situation.
