My son was in top shape when he had his knee injured in a football game his junior year--ACL,MCL,PCL,cracked cartilage, torn meniscus and bone bruising. It certainly helps the healing to be in great shape but there are lots of knee injuries happening to strong players like our sons. I am so thankful that we had his knee repaired where we did(Austria)He returned to sports 4 weeks post-op and is now 2 1/2yrs out, playing D-1 football--no problems. Keep checking your options---Red Pony, are you an SMU fan?
