Everyone who reads my posts must first click on my use name and read my profile.
The PCL has a remarkable ability to heal itself without surgery. A partial ACL tear, naturally discovered on an imaging study such as MRI rather than as a result of a physical examination which revealed pathologic laxity, is either associated with anterior instability (and in that case needs surgery) or is not (and in that case doesn't need surgery)
My child would be on rehab for a while, then return to sports. We would take it as it comes. Most cases I see like this dodge the bullet.
