Hey karatechic: Wow, Im in a similar predicament. I've had 6 knee surgeries, and fixing to undergo another on Mar.12th. I've had my medial meniscus in my right knee removed 2001. I didn't know it was gone until I switched to another ortho doc and he did an MRI. Ive had 2 ACL Reconstructions(1st.one-patellar tendon allograft, 2nd one-anterior tibialis allograft), and also a microfracture on my right knee. On my left knee Ive had arthroscopy, and an ACL reconstruction- hamstring autograft. I recently switched to another ortho doc when my l. knee snapped. He ordered an MRI and the results revealed a torn medial meniscus, ACL deficiency, osteoarthritis, and changes of cartilaginous structures. My doctor is using the patellar bone tendon bone allograft when he does the surgery this coming Wednesday.
