Post ACL surgery

Its been about 2 weeks since I had my ACL reconstruction done using the hamstring. My range of motion has been improving and I have started my PT.

The question I have is how would I know if the hamstring graft has come out? I felt almost like an electric shock going down my knee the other day trying to walk down the stairs using both my legs which was attempted for the first time since the surgery. (bad leg first going down and good leg first going up causes no problems)

My understanding is if the graft comes out or if it tears, it would cause your knee to buckle and fall down (similar to when you initially tore your ACL). Is this correct?

Thanks!
