pain in the shin/tibia area.

I had ACL replacement (hamstring autograft) this past Tuesday - doing icing and CPM machine as prescribed. Last couple of days have seen increasing pain along the tibia. Skin around it, down to the ankle is hot to the touch, bit of inflammation. The incisions from the surgery seem fine, bleeding initially under the steri-strips, but that ceased after the first day, the strips remain on, and that area is not swollen. Both ends of my wrap/bandage had velcro strips to secure them. The area of pain is where the inner velcro strip had been and was pressured by the brace straps. (the velcro securing strip on the inside of the wrap is now gone). I started walking without crutches for a little bit on Thursday, have increased that. Swelling around my ankle has decreased the last couple of days. Is the pain/tenderness in the shin area normal (or at least not un-natural)? When standing, the pressure from my brace is pretty painful, but eases when I am moving/walking around. How is this compared to others' experiences? Thanks,
