We take a very different view of that un touched business. A mild to moderate amount of pain in both knees allows far better function in the early period than a large amount of pain in one knee, as you are only as good as your worst knee. We had used the opposite patella tendon in at least 200 revision cases, (as well as all our primary cases), the first operation having had a graft harvest from the same side, and every single patient has amazed about how well they felt from the get-go, inclusive of 1000 feet of normal walking wihout braces or crutche the day of their surgery. The QT patients do well, but it takes far longer. In my opinion, a hamstring revision case, will do poorly.
