In Response To: skiing without an ACL? (megan nyc)

I've been skiing for 2 seasons now without an ACL. I wear one of those big clunky braces, but it's for just in case. (I figure considering I skied down the mountain after popping the ACL in the first place, there's no reason to give up skiing just because I ruined one ligament.)

If you stay on groomed runs you'll probably be fine, even steep ones. Bumpy runs could cause you some pain from banging around, but otherwise I'd say go for it! Life is tough so it's good to have fun when we can.
