Another Total Knee Replacement!
Posted By: si Date: Thursday, 20 March 2008, at 1:56 p.m.
My last total knee replacement left me with 78 degrees bend (this is after having 2 manipulations too). A second opinion ortho doctor feels that I could possible get 100 degrees bend by doing the TNR over again, taking out all the built up scar tissue during surgeon. I am wondering what are the thoughts on this. I am not guranteed being able to get to 100 degrees. Right now I can't walk up and down stairs properly or get from a sitting to stand position from a chair. My knee is in a lot of pain which prevents me from being able to do every day activities.
Just wondering what other choices there are for me and your opinions on a second TNR.
Thanks, si.
