I have finally received the first of the newest publications studying the long-term(in this case 5yr)studies regarding artificial ligaments used to repair ACL damage. The results are good. I know that there will be those of you who say 5yrs is too short a time but the 10yrs study is being published also. My son's knee is great going on 3yrs...no swelling, pain or instability. This technology should be considered as an option for persons wanting to get back to an active life/competitive sports quickly. European countries as well as Dubai will accept American patients.
