Thanks for the speedy response. A therapist at the hospital sized the crutches and taught me how to use them. I think I'm using them correctly. I am keeping all my weight on my hands. The crutches aren't digging into my armpits. They're just rubbing back and forth against the side of my body (between the arm pit and ribs) and the inside of my arm which is causing irritation to the skin.
