Thanks for the input. Basically I've felt that there has been something not quite "right" with my knee. But because I do have good stability so far with my ACL graft the dr.'s I saw seemed to blame all of my pain and swelling on osteoathritis (which I am sure is part of the problem)without any further investigation. This past incident though makes me certain that there has been new trauma and I just wanted to know what my options are before going back and being told I just have to suffer. As a matter of fact I was definitely told that I was NOT a candidate for MRI due to the screws. My surgery was in 1988 and was at the early stage of using patellar btb grafts.
