Dear Chris,

It is good that your daughter's flat-footedness has been identified. This problem is relatively easy to address through the use of custom-made orthotics. Off-the-shelf arch-supporting insoles can also be helpful.

P.S.: Home for me is Waterloo. Since you live in the Greater Toronto Area, there should be many excellent foot-orthotics professionals within convenient driving distance. Also, there are gait-biomechanics labs in Toronto.
