It could possibly be early onset osteoarthritis, which is not a good thing because it means that your knee joint is slowly deteriorating, and eventually you may end up having to have a knee replacement. Im 27 and have arthritis in my left knee, and medial compartment arthritis in my right knee. Im facing the fact that I'll eventually have to undergo a partial knee replacement in my R. knee. My advice would be to see an ortho doc,and not the one that did your surgery. You'll be able to get a different perspective from another doc. And if you have to change ortho docs then do it, because the knee is not something to play around with. I changed ortho docs and I couldn't be happier. Good luck!!!
