random instability

Hi guys --
It seems like every week or month brings a new challenge for ACL /meniscus reconstruction rehab. Lately - and it happens about 1 to 2 x a week . . my knee will randomly give out. If I can describe what it feels like, it's like the nerves are angry and I have to walk it out. It happens usually when I have been sitting (doesn't matter now long 10 min - 40 min) but when I get up and after about 2-3 steps or so. It's more pain behind and feels like you are being stimmed like crazy. Any sugggestions? Is this normal? I see my OS next week. I am 3 months post op. I know this is when the ACL can weaken . . . it easy to read all of these things but when it is happening to you, you get nervous and wonder if everything is still in the right place. Thanks for your insight and comments!
