I wouldn't do it. I ended up screwing more things up trying to play on it (I didn't know what was wrong at first.)
And there isn't any football/soccer season coming up right now so I'd say get in there ASAP. I was back running and playing sports at week 9. I am taking it sort of easy, but recovery isn't the a 9 month ordeal some people make it out to be.
