My advice is to take two weeks off during which time you can work on getting the swelling down, full extension, and good flexion. Get those early, the rest comes.
You may well feel good enough sooner, but once you go to work your ability to keep your knee elevated a lot is gone, so you will slow down your initial recovery.
And don't drive while still on pain medication.
I am assuming you have good extension and flexion now. I drive a manual, and could drive inside two weeks.
Ice is nice. Some folks use frozen peas. Multiple ice compression ice packs work (that way you always have a cold one available).
Good luck.
