Eric,
I strongly suggest you seek the opinion of another surgeon. First, it is important to determine if the ACL graft is in the correct position (which needs to be assessed by someone other than the operating surgeon). Improper graft placement can lead to knee motion problems. Second, you have a severe limitation of flexion (it should be 135 degrees by now) and a manipulation (which is what your surgeon is recommending) is not the answer - as Dr. Mark indicated, an arthroscopic debridement of the scar tissues is required. I have an article I can send you...and you might also want to go to the KneeGuru site and look at the message board under Arthrofibrosis. This problem MUST be resolved ASAP with the appropriate treatment measures.
By the way, you should have been performing knee flexion overpressure exercises at least 4-6 times a day early postoperatively for this type of a problem. That is why you really should seek medical advice elsewhere.
Good luck,
SueBW
