Dr Cummings did a knee scope(Nov '07) 8 months after microfracture surgery, and said even the the ACL failed, the microfrature healed the lesion (so it was a success). He doesn't know why I'm in so much pain, and says there is nothing he can do. I believe that Dr Cummings fractured, broke or did something to my bone that is constantly being injuried with any weight I put on my knee.
I've begged for a TKR (knee replacement) but due to my age I've been told it's not an option. I have little hope that I will get better. I'm just posting this to hopefully find someone else that has been injuried this badly due to microfracture surgery.
I still am in shock that a doctor can perform knee surgery, make the injury worse, and then say you're on your own there is nothing I can do.
