You really need to get second opinion before you persue a TKR. There are other docs out there that may find out what is going on with your knee. You are young but not too young if you truly need a TKR. BUT that should be your last resort not just jump into it. A TKR is a major life changing operation. There is no guarantee that a TKR will come out painfree. Go for second or third opinions.
