I've had 2 MRI's (Sept '07 and Jan '08)after my May '07 surgery to determine what has gone wrong and according to Dr Cummings everything looks great (no infection ectc. . ), and lesion was convered. When he did a knee scope in Nov '07 he said things looked great. I've been told OATS or ACI is not an option for 2 reasons 1) I am grossly unstable and 2) the doctor's claim these procedure would not help.

I'm beging for a TKR just because I can't find any other options. Here are the things I've had done post May '07 surgery.
1) Femoral nerve block - provided 50% pain relief for about 2 hours
2) Sappanos nerve block - provide 70% pain relief for about 2 hours.
3) Acupuncture - no relief
4) pain psychologist - Dr Cumming's idea, to help dea lwith pain, which did nothing
Currently TOCA (The Orth Clinic of Arizona) ahs refused to perform anymore treatment, since even though their doctor perforemd surgery there is nothin more they can d oto help. As stated by one of their docs, "We are like body mechanics there is only so much we can do."
So I feel I've exhausted all options, and the only thing I see as ever getting my life back in a TKR. I' more than willing to try anything, but I don't know what else to do/try.
