The knee is as decribed by my last Ortho as grossly unstable.
I have been tested for RSD, and been told by Dr Cummings that I had no infections or other things when he did a knee scope in Nov '07. but I've been told by DR Cummings the MF surgery as a "success" and the lesion has been convered and looks great. (Although I do not beleive anything he tells me, but other doctors based on scope pics and MRIs have said the same.)
The knee feels like I have a broken/fractured bone on the inner postion and any walking on it is like constantly splittin it apart.
I understand the concern for not having a TKR, but it's beeen a year, and I'm getting worse. If I was getting better or was even as good as I was before surgery i could live with that, but just don't see how more time is going to make any difference.
Basically this surgery, has caused me to become almost imobile, and thus I really can't do anything. And now that my Ortho that performed the surgery refuses to do anything else since, as he claims there is nothing he can do, has pretty much killed my hope of anything changing. Also a lot of Orthos in Arizona will not accept patients who have had prior surgery from other organizations. And to make matters worse most all Orths I've talked to in Arizona refer my to Dr Carter of TOCA, who along with Dr Cummings say there is nothing they can do. So I really don't know where to turn.
