While I don't do microfracture as I believe it to be a fairy tale,(drillng holes in the bone does not cause type two articular cartlage to form, but it does cause white fibrocartlage scar which and fool the uninitiated) the peron who posted on his bitter experience, in my opinion, is incorrectly placing the blame for the knee problems on the microfrature-a procedure that in my opinion does not change the natural history of the probem it is designed to treat.
