I've tried to find a new doctor. I've been at this process for over 3 years. Everything any doctor has done has just made things worse. I assumed Dr Carter(http://www.tocamd.com/doctors/carter.htm) and Dr Cummings(http://www.tocamd.com/doctors/cummings.htm) were good doctors, but they and their clinic (TOCA) refuse to treat me any further since they feel there is nothing they can do to help.
I'm not opposed to trying another surgery, but the main problem is no that my ACL failed 3 times, it's the microfracture surgery given to me by Dr Cummings has caused me extreme pain. Pain that I did not have prior to the surgery. I still can't find any information that explain why Dr Cummings microfrature surgery could make me worse off post OP, even though after his Nov '07 knee scope he said it looked perfect.
I've contacted many OSs and most either refuse me as a patient or say there is no one else that is better than Dr Carter, so I should be seeing him. He did do microfrature on Amare Stoudemire, Suns basketball player.
