Footster, I appreciate the response. I remember your id from many years ago and hope you and your knees and you are doing good.

I had hamstring recon on the right knee in 2000. I completely blew it out falling off a ladder and landing on the knee and it has not seemed too stable as a side to side motion since. It does seem that gradually it has become worse through the years.

Once released after surgery, the same year, I partially blew out the left knee water skiing the same year but didn't have hamstring recon surgery until 2005 on the left. The left one has had golf ball size swelling since surgery (to the left above the knee). I do not have much faith in my parts or the previous OS as both surgeries never really seemed successful and both got progressively worse. I am hoping the John or Jane wino had stronger parts than I. Do you happen to know where I can research the risks involved? Perhaps archive posts? Thank you for your help!
