I have to agree. I had patellar autograft in May of 2006 and have NO complaints about my knee. I work as a paramedic and am active in martial arts.
The big thing is range of motion. My OS insisted on getting that back within 4 weeks max - primarily extension or hyperextension equal to the unoperated leg. I am truly sorry for your problems but it isnt the type of surgery that is to blame. What is to blame is either the surgeon - who did it wrong or his rehab protocols, which were not up to par. I can understand how frustrated and angry you must be at this stage but what are you going to do? I mean - you need a knee. Go see a specialist - NOT the same one that did this to you.
good luck.
