In Response To: 45 year old w/ torn ACL (Tom Armstrong)
I was 44 when I blew my acl playing tennis. I was doing prehab within a couple of days and had the surgery 3 weeks later when swelling was down and I had full extension and flexion. That was 3 years ago and I was back on the tennis court in 6 months. The knee feels great and getting the surgery was the best move for me although I wouldn't want to go through it again.
