Dr Mark Sanders on this board was against it, and my own surgeon Dr. Tadashi Funahashi @ Kaiser in Irvine, CA were against allograft.
They made a good argument that you really never know who, when, where the graft comes from. A lot of times they're weaker than regular autograph (yourself).
I had my surgeon use my patellar tendon (kneecap). My knee is strong now. Still working it out, though not as often as I should.
After picking your graft, make sure you have good physical therapists who really push you. Most important thing to have is that your knee extension is equal to your other knee. Also that you can bend all the way back and touch ur butt. Need to get that movement by weeks 8-12. The biggest complication will be scar tissue growth if you don't move enough.
