This has been discussed to death in the past. Just use the search tool.
Basically:
1.) In the past, synthetic grafts haven't worked in the past because they're inorganic. Organic grafts can repair from daily use. Synthetics can't. They wear out and turn to chunks.
2.) No long term study on Lars.
3.) You're 22. You're going to be on the knee a long time.
I went with Patella graft, and I'm fine. No tendinitis, no extension problems, it's tight and good.
The most important thing is find a doctor you're comfortable with who has experience and all of that. That's 40% of it. 60% is the rehab. You need to get full range of motion asap after surgery. Then build up the muscles.
