Alas major meniscus damage and removal does often put on you the path to arthritis later. So I suppose no surprise.

Playing soccer, my docs view is best if you don't, but knowing we want to play, how best to extend your playing days.

The good news is your knee is stable. What I did for years was work on fitness with activities that don't stress your knee, mostly having my basic fitness with a bike, but also doing balance work and sometimes weight work.

Avoid leg extension machines like the plague. I do run, but mostly trails, and avoid running on pavement.

If you are carrying any extra pounds, few things are better than just shedding them.
