Everyone who reads my posts must first click on my user name and read my profile.

Individual variations in the way humans are wired cause big differences in the early, but not the late post op course.

I have two ACL populations. The one I like best is typically a 40 year old guy who has raced motorcycles for 20 years, and has had pleanty of previous injuries. He usually has lost a parent, suffered through a divorce, and is an Iraq veteran. Whith the new wife and baby, and four different notes (house, truck, motorcycle, child support) to pay, he has no time to bellyache.

The second population is the teenage girl. Her devoted parents have shielded her from all the horrors of this world up till now. Previously, the biggest trouble she ever encountered was when she stopped eating her lunch at the cafeteria with a cute boy and that was considered a painful break-up. Now she isn't going with her team to State, and she faces post surgical ACL rehab. This child will have double the pain of the guy in the first paragraph and there will be lots of drama.

You are probably old enough to decided what catagory you fit into.
