Donjoy Brace Follow-up question

> I just looked at the brace (custom defiance) a little more carefully. There are plastic covers over the hooks that the straps are connected to. (I say hooks for lack of a better description) I can't tell if the plastic screws off but I don't want to mess with it in case I can't get them back on. Has anyone seen this on the defiance and if so, just how do I remove it to get to the straps? Wish I could do a better job of describing the problem, but I'm a little perplexed.
