Son had ACL with hamstring auto about 8 weeks ago. Rehab is going great. -2 extension to 137 flexion. Doing bike and eliptical, proprioception exercises, squats on balance board while throwing medicine ball, etc. No pain, no limp. Quads almost equal (operative side is 0.5cm smaller, but might have always been as it his non-dominant leg in soccer). His only "complaint" is a weird sensation after he has been standing for a time with is knee straight. When he initially bends it, he says it feels very tight, like when you have a cramp in your foot, and then it suddenly lets go and bends easily. PT says not to worry...just one of those weird post-op sensations. Ideas?
