Torn MCL But No Pain... WHY?

Posted By: Sandradee

About three weeks ago I had a snowboarding accident that resulted in an avulsion fracture to my femoral condyle where the MCL attaches and a torn MCL. I have recently started Physio and my Physiotherapist is puzzled as to why with a torn MCL i have gapping but no pain when pressure is applied to the MCL... Does anyone know why this might be?
