Hello, again..

Well hello, again.
I find myself back on the "kneeboard".
I do see a couple of familiar names(Michael Frind/OLarryR)here from back in my days(2000~2001). When I was here seeking knowledge and support for my knee injury (torn ACL/Meniscus repair)My knee is doing well, for an "Old Broad".
So, I am here today because my 9 year old granddaughter injured her knee Sat. Falling over a trailor hitch. It is swollen all the way down to her ankle. She can not straighten it or put weight on it. She was taken to urgent care. They took xrays. Nothing broken. Instructed to came back if she could not put weight on it in 24 hours. We all know where this is going!
Back to the Dr. yesterday. The Dr. was not too concerned (?)but said an MRI "would not be a bad idea"??? MRI is scheduled for tomorrow AM. Thank goodnes! The Dr. said she could go to school if she could use crutches. So off she goes this AM.
I know the MRI will tell the tale. I am just hoping it's not the knee surgery tale of the climb of "Mt Knee Trauma". I suppose children are more resilent than us old folks. But I am imagining the road she has ahead of her. I know I am getting a head of myself before the MRI results. So I will just stop here, and wait!
I just know this is the place to come for info, support and "virtual M&M's". I have sent my daughter the link,in case she has the need.
I wish you all well. And..I'll be back! ;D
