3rd surgery - ACL graft, meniscus repair, bucket tear meniscus, ACL again?

41 year old female, loves karate (lots of twisting kicks and pivoting), just found out I will have another knee surgery next Friday. Had a hamstring graft in around 2003, after twisting knee trying to take someone down with a leg sweep. Never could bend it all the way again but back in action after 6 mos. Then had meniscus tear cleaned up, fast recovery. Had screws removed, doesn't really count as a surgery, but they were bulging out the front and were painful. Hard living, did a tri, lots of karate and crossfit. Then on 12/22/09 I heard a crunching sound in my knee and it hurt a little while I was doing roundhouse kicks in karate (pivoting on bad knee), still finished kicking and finished class. Pretty minimal pain and swelling. Felt unstable. Went to bad Dr. He said just need PT. Did PT for a few weeks, did a little karate, weights, cardio but leg was achy deep inside knee, down shin and calf. Went to another Dr. Immediately ordered MRI. I couldn't keep track of all the damage but bucket tear in the meniscus, flap is flopped backwards, cartilage damage (doesn't think bone on bone yet), lots of scar tissue and possible loose ACL. So won't know if need a new ACL graft until he's doing surgery. He said he will prepare to do a cadaver graft just in case.
